So I contacted them, and they told me that: I was told by someone here that I should go to the Specialists Adobe address and they would help me. I searched the Adobe Community, and saw that this has been experienced by others, and tried the various solutions: couldn’t use the Creative Cloud Cleaner as not on CC deleting the OOBE folder, nope using the sudo command, nope uninstalling everything and re-installing, nope nothing seems to work. When I clicked on the “Sign In Now” button I got an “Acrobat Licensing Application” dialogue box, which was completely blank, so I could not proceed. When I tried to open Acrobat I got a “Sign In Required” notice. Just recently I upgraded my 2019 MacBook Pro to the 2021 MacBook Pro M1Max. It was an arduous process but we finally got it worked out. In 2020 I swapped the version from Windows to Mac, with the perpetual license (non-CC) version. I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 in July 2018, for about $600 CDN. I might be able to determine if that's true if I could complete the migration from an Intel MacBook Pro to an M1Max. The System Requirements page for 2017 says it is supported on MacOS 12.
